CITYSCAPES
I draw inspiration for my paintings from the unlimited sights, sounds, and colors of the city and work to capture the textures and energy of the urban landscape. For my cityscapes series, I paint using sketches and photographs Iʼve taken as reference, but also add in different elements from my imagination. I give the cityscapes, the buildings, and lakefront scenes a more abstract quality and use different color schemes than youʼd see in real life.
