Right side up or upside down

I'm working on a new abstract aerial landscape painting but can't decide on orientation. Still some more layers to go -- as I paint I shift the orientation periodically. It will probably be obvious later as to how it looks better...What do you think?

Right side up:

abstract aerial landscape, acrylic on canvas (work in progress)

Or, upside down:

Chicago Skyline photo featured at Sheraton Suites

Several years ago, I was contacted by Atlanta art consultant, Faulkner + Locke requesting to license my art for one of their clients. It turned out that they wanted one of my photographs for a remodeling project for the Sheraton Suites Elk Grove Village, IL hotel featuring Chicago-specific art.

I finally dropped by the hotel this week to check it out. My Chicago Skyline photograph is hanging in all 250 suites along with other Chicago art! It's a large scale giclée print on canvas about 2 feet by 3 feet in size. I even received my own print which I recently had framed by Blackbird Gallery + Framing.

Here are some shots from one of the suites:

Cityscape Photos @ Urbanest in Andersonville

My new cityscape photos are up at Urbanest in Andersonville. Check out the new Urbanest website!

These photographs of Chicago, New York, and San Francisco are from my cityscapes series, where I digitally manipulate the images to create new colors and textures of cityscapes and architecture. I travel frequently and it's always inspiring to discover a city (or new area of familiar place) by walking around taking photos.

Info: All photos are 16x20 archival prints, matted, signed, framed.
